Revival – I hear the Sound of Abundance of Rain

Revival – I hear the Sound of Abundance of Rain

Revival like never before is about to be released on the Earth. It will pour out like the latter rain. Hence why I say, I hear the sound of the abundance of rain.

God is getting ready to release the greatest revival ever recorded in Christian history. I say this because, in the middle of 2017, God told me that in the year 2018, we will experience the manifestation of the Holy Spirit like ever before.

Before my revelation, there was a prophecy Benin Hinn gave on a Trinity Broadcasting Network programme that when Oral Roberts and Billie Graham pass away, it will be a sign of the greatest revival the world has ever seen.

Following these two revelations, I can boldly say that I can hear the sound abundance of rain! However, we can miss out on what God wants to do if we do not prepare ourselves for it. So, my question to you as a Christian is – are you ready for what God wants to do and will you make yourself available to Him?

The early Christians learnt this valuable lesson about getting themselves ready for the move of God. They gathered in a room to pray in one accord, and it was then that the Holy Spirit came down. The Bible tells us that the eyes of God roams throughout the Earth to seek someone through whom He can make Himself strong. Will that person, be you? This call is both a personal and corporate one, because God is calling out His assembly. However, only you can decide whether or not you will be part of it.

It is time for you to make yourself available to God!

Be an SVP – Servant, Visionary and Partner

Servant, Visionary and Partner with the Holy Spirit

Servant, visionary, partner

The calling of God is to be a Servant, Visionary and a Partner with the Holy Spirit.

Christianity today is full of popularity contests. Many in the Church want to be VIPs, with all the attention on them. But this was precisely what the Pharisees were doing, they long to be greeted on the streets and were more concerned about their outward appearances than the inward.

Jesus warned us about this attitude when He said that the leaders of the world long to be served by others, but the reverse is the case in the Kingdom of God. The first shall be last. What Jesus is saying here gives us a picture of who God is looking for:

• A Servant

• A Visionary mind

• A Partner with the Holy Spirit

Therefore, God is looking for an SVP, not a VIP.

If we study the life of Jesus, we will see that He was all these three things. He came to serve by laying down His life for the sake of our salvation, in obedience to God the Father.

Jesus was a visionary because He said that He has come that we may have life and have it in abundance – that is a vision! Therefore, Jesus knew why He was here. He knew Who He is and what His purpose was. So much so that when some Greeks wanted to crown Him king, He stayed focused on why He was here, and He knew that He had to go to the cross and die for the sins of the world.

Jesus always partnered with the Holy Spirit; He did not do anything except by depending on the Holy Spirit. Peter said to Cornelius and his family that God anointed Jesus with the Holy Spirit and He went about doing good. Therefore, when the religious leaders accused Him of casting out demons by Beelzebub, He said to them that sinning against the Father and Him can be forgiven, but sinning against the Holy Spirit cannot be forgiven. He was saying to them that though they think they were accusing Him, they were blaspheming the Holy Spirit because it was He Who was doing the work.

Jesus did not carry Himself as a VIP, even though He was the most important Person in the Universe, the head of all creation and His birth was welcomed and announced by Angels. He was not attention seeking, He just focused on serving, focused on the vision God gave Him, and He submitted to the partnership with the Holy Spirit.

Paul says we need to have the same mind as Jesus, Who humbled Himself to the obedience of death. The attitude with which Jesus conducted Himself, is the same attitude that God is looking for in the people He will use in this coming revival. Therefore, if you want God to use you, focus on being an SVP.
